Shortly after winding down my efforts on LeagueFab, I launched my next startup venture: Datascover. At the time, I was working as a full-time software developer during the day. I had taken a local job after moving to St. Louis in mid 2015. But I had spent about a year working a freelance job for the state of Florida prior to that.

LeagueFab was my first real attempt at a startup, and one that taught me several important lessons. I co-founded LeagueFab in 2015 with a friend who was an avid ping-pong player.

This page documents my repair of the Tascam X-9 DJ mixer. A few weeks ago I started to see error codes “err1” and “err3” on the LCD display. For about the first two minutes of running, none of the buttons on the mixer would work, and the output popped and cracked. After warming up it seemed to work ok, but it also seemed to be getting worse.
